The aim of the show is to capture and portray the angling lifestyle, and experience it’s entirety. To educate and learn, to involve and entertain anglers, non - anglers, enthusiasts and the broader public. Ultimately we hope to engage the non-fisherman and or woman by presenting the abstract and entertaining qualities of angling, the lifestyle, cooking and its associated travel and elements.

Angling - both shore and offshore angling will encompass any and all angling from the beach, riverbank or landmass, and offshore meaning to be either at sea, on a estuary or away from any landmass. The show will follow reputable field guides & anglers, celebrities, the local anglers in the targeted area, invited guests of the show and the general public in their daily preparations before, during and after the desired angling experience which they seek.

Travel and Lifestyle - suggested means and routes to and from select areas both coastal and inland throughout Southern Africa, neighboring countries and islands. The show will focus mainly on exploring domestic waters and targeting our local species, yet we will travel internationally to known and unknown exotic locations to target their local fish species, and showcase their local disciplines of fishing, living and cooking.

"Cooking and preparation of a catch" - the majority of, if not all anglers, fish for consumption. For many in South Africa it is the primary means of feeding oneself and their families. At the end of each show we will invite guest chefs, celebrities and Joe public, along with our field guides to take us through a suggested preparation, cooking and serving of the targeted species for the day. In some cases we would like to educate how to prepare “local dishes” in the areas that the species were caught, using ingredients, methods & utensils available to that region.
